Residency in Spain - Applying for Residency |

If you plan to spend more than 90 days a year in Spain, you must apply for a visado de residencia (residence card). These can be obtained from the Spanish Embassy in London
(0207 235 5555) before you go to Spain. You will need to take various forms of identification including qualifications, photocopy of your passport,
visa application, a medical certificate, papers from your employer and a certificate confirming whether to not you have a criminal record.
If you wish to apply for residency while you are in Spain, you can do this at your local police station in the area you intend to live in, within 15 days of entering Spain.
All residence cards need to be renewed every five years. |
